VISION
Our Vision is to see a holistic discipleship movement multiply across Japan through Discovery Bible Studies where the Japanese can discover Jesus for themselves, grow in biblical identity and purpose, and are empowered to launch and lead new locally run ministries.
Who are we?
Both Abby and I developed a heart for overseas mission work, mostly in our teenage years. I had a specific heart for Japan already, and Abby had a heart for Asia. This led both of us to go on short-term mission trips in high school, which grew our hearts for the nations.

We both did a Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission in 2023 and formed a great friendship. YWAM was super beneficial for both of us, and we grew so much. We went on a 2.5-month outreach to Nepal. By this time, we knew we liked one another, and after YWAM dated and quickly got married.
We are currently living in Colorado Springs on the YWAM base serving locally and support raising before we move to Japan. We have completed a course called School of Strategic Mission to gain wisdom on how to be long-term missionaries. We learned about Discovery Bible Studies (DBS), which is a style of studying the Bible that makes room for the seeker to read scripture and encounter Jesus. We want to plant these groups, which we'll call house churches for your reference, because we want to stay away from church dogma in Japan as churches are often viewed as cults.
