What We’re Up To

Hi friends,

This is Isaiah—thank you so much for joining Abby and me in our call to missions. I’ll be writing most of these updates, so I appreciate your support and prayers.

Life Updates & Praises:

Two weeks ago, we made a tough decision to cancel our lease and move in with my in-laws to save money. It’s been a learning experience, but I’m grateful for my wonderful in-laws—they’ve been a blessing!

Despite the changes, Abby and I have grown closer, and our marriage is doing really well.

During these weeks, I completed our website, wrote three blogs (listed below), and met with many people about support for YWAM.

I was recently laid off, which was stressful, but God provided a new summer job at Pure Bean, where Abby also works—so if you’re nearby, stop by and say hello!

Abby’s vehicle is in bad shape and not safe to drive. We’re trying to sell it, so please pray that we find a buyer soon.

Financial & Support Updates:

We’ve already raised $3,440 for the School of Strategic Mission (SOSM), and some supporters are interested in monthly giving.

We’re in the final stages of joining staff with YWAM, with leadership praying about our interviews. We expect a decision in the next few weeks.

Once confirmed, we’ll have a support link on our website to accept one-time or monthly donations. We need to reach a $2,000/month support goal before moving to the base, so please consider supporting us or providing a support commitment.

Personal Prayer Requests:

Pray for confidence and boldness in asking for support, trusting that it’s God’s plan and for His glory.

Pray that many would give generously, even if you don’t feel led, so we can meet our goals.

Pray for Japan—that the Holy Spirit is already at work, and many will come to Christ as Christian laborers rise up.

Pray that Abby and I would continue to grow in compassion and love through local ministry and prepare well for the mission field.
